Weekend Tears

Honest I really didn't expect them , but then when i look back at my week i have been pretty tearful. I really really missed dad, and the popping round to see him laden with treats and handmade cards! Although me and the girls made it up with all the drawings and cards the girls made for Peter. They even did him breakfast in bed, and i was not allowed to interfere....and that, trust me was hard!!! Apart from the tears and reflection for both peter and I we did have a lovely day. We spent the afternoon at the park and came home to Roast Chicken with all the trimmings. Unfortunately i never got round to making the crumble.

It was Pencil Lines night as well. I did a layout using a photo of me and Peter and the lyrics for my journalling from "When I'm 64"

Supplies :

Collage Press Seed Collection
Technique Tuesday Chipboard, crackle glazed and inked
Technique Tuesday Corner Stamp
Stamps Away Alpha stamps
Angel Kiss blooms and flower
Various buttons and ribbons

It was also the last call for the DT search, OMG we have had so many entries it has blown us all away. a decision will be made by Friday and you will need to check back over at the site for details.

I have some magazine work to do today and pack some Angel Kiss orders. And then tomorrow I am over to Bury to spend a girly day with Annie and Jennie, who I am so looking forward to meet as we haven't met in person yet!

Hope you all had a great weekend, and for those who no longer have their fathers i hop it was not too painful

big hugs

Anna x

It was so wonderful to see you yesterday hun. I'm pleased we got to chat so much and catch up, we have a lot in common, and it was great to share that. I just bcan't wait to see the pics you took, I'm so impatient. I've been using my goodies I bought yesterday, and am totally inspired by seeing you and Annie yesterday.
Hope your little one is feeling better.
I love your LO, especially the buttons, and pleased you got through your first difficult Father's Day. Hugs.
