Still here

We are still here in Florida, costs are spiralling as we learn that we have no "rights" as we are not flying with an EU carrier and AA insurance only cover departing flights from the UK, not returning flights!
To be honest, we all just want to get home.
We have heard that Seaworld/Busch Gardens are offering a free day pass and WDW and waterparks are offering a free day hopper, and free parking to all stranded tourists. Hoping to get our WDW pass tomorrow and we will probaly do a water park, as we are a bit WDW parked out tbh!

This sums up Magic Kingdom for me, love the colours.

Our only fear now, is we have noticed from the MET office that the ash is now heading over to Canada! not good as this is where we fly out from next week! Fingers and toes crossed please...

I have booked Sue and I on a crop Friday at Scrappy Boutique in Orlando, looking forward to that; just need to order some photos from CVS before we go.

    Good news hun. UK airports are opening tonight at 10pm! Hopefully you'll be able to get back next week ok. Hope you're all managing to enjoy the extended 'holiday' a little bit xx

    *sigh* - you poor things :( I know that it must have been fun at first but can imagine just how draining it must be not being able to get home.....it was lovely to talk to you yesterday - missing you lots and hope you can hurry home very soon.

    What a pain for you, it must be so frustrating that your costs are spiralling and there is nothing you can do about it.

    On the plus side, Elaine and I shopped at Scrappy Boutique when we were in Orlando in 2008, I seem to remember they had lovely Disney scrapbooking supplies!

    Hello, not sure if you have booked your flights home yet, but i know a couple that flew into Spain because it was out of the cloud dispersion. Just a thought incase your plans are thwarted again. On the up-side, hope you enjoyed your crop.
