Blackberry Chutney

This is a must make recipe. Make enough to use now and keep back some for Boxing day. Perfect with cheese, yummy!

Spiced Blackberry Chutney - makes 2-3 jars (500g)

500g washed blackberries
2 red onions sliced ( about 140g)
140 g sugar
2 tbsp of fresh ginger ( I used fresh ginger puree 1tbsp)
1 tbsp of dijon mustard
150ml white wine vinegar
salt and pepper

Place all ingredients except the vinegar into a saucepan and cook until the black berries are softened
Add the vinegar and boil for 10 minutes
Pour into sterilized jars and close immediatly.

Yes its that easy, and totally delicious!

Stop by later for a gorgeous Blackberry Crumble cake!!!

See you later
