Oh what a beautiful day......It has been a stunning October 27th, the sun has been shining all day and the windows have been wide open. The girls have been playing outside, I have been working, packing and doing the usual. Then..........................................Our Lilly punks out on us!!!!!!!. Yep I have a wild child on my hand at the moment. See this photo? I will be scrapping this next time you log on to my blog. It just has to be done!!
Actually I feel like crap, my throat is burning, my voice is croaking, and I have been sapped of all my creative energy. And to be honest I am really peeved that a LO I uploaded onto UKS got a measly 4 comments!! Ok I know its not important, and I love the Lo so who gives a s...., but it has been bugging me, and now I feel creatively worthless, boohoo, BUT my next LO is gonna knock em dead. Well with a face like Lillys how could it not eh?
So back to the things that matter...Tomorrow we are off to see Wallace and grommet the movie.
Until then bloggers

Had some great news from my factory in Thailand, well not officially mine but the one I use. It looks like Scrapping Angels first product is gonna be manufactured!!! So chuffed.
Also heard from Kate today and she wants me to write my synopsis for the book to present to her colleagues in November and if all goes well to present at the London Book Fair in March for publication in Spring 2007, but I will not hold my breath as I have been terribly burnt once already, as some of you know :(
I have manicly been packing again today, then off to town to do some birthday shopping.
I now have kits to put together, just one offs to clear some stock, the crop on Sunday and a layout and bio to do for 12x12 magazine as well as the start of my new column.
Check out my new card designers!! These beauties were made by my Izzy and her friend Ava who is 10 years old. Aren't they just the best!
I am doing a small craft fair on December 3rd, will do a few handmade cards and some card kits for Christmas.
Diet is going well at the moment, ok I know its only day 3 but at this rate I have done the best this year that's good!!
Lasagne for tea, yummy yummy, then a touch of Trinnie and Susanne and now some kits to prepare
hugs

Here we are, the 2nd day of the half term, and Izzy has a friend called Ava who has been round all day playing with the girls. They are now sat at the dining table while I emptied all my treasured trash/stash for them to play with. I do believe I have some master pieces coming along!
This is the layout I managed to finish today. I used the Junkitz Girl kit. I am so loving fabric at the moment and I can see a lo coming up using mainly fabric!. I know I am sure some wherein this blog I mentioned being inspired by stamping of which I have done none!
Well I blow like the wind, hot and cold that is, and its fabric for me at the moment!
I just so enjoy ripping and tying, with all the threads looking messy. And yes Kirsty, although inspired by you, that is a handcut flower you see before your eyes! No machines for me!!! I now must go and oo and arr over the girls card making, cant wait!

I have been dreading this week, with the girls on half term, but it really hasn't been a bad start.
They let me have a lie in, first time in ages. Came downstairs to put the computer on, and my reminders pop up!!! 9.30am Izzy has a speech therapy appoitment and its 9.18 and we are all in our PJ's. We actually all got dressed and out of the house in 10 minutes. The fact I had grubby trousers on and no make up doesn't count, we made it out of the house!!!
The rest of the day was spent packing order, the girls have been great for me, so treats all round at the post office.
Started my diet again!!!! Lets see how long that lasts :(
In the middle of doing a LO with the Girlz Junkitz Kit, and I am loving it, lots of fabric and ribbon. I think fabric may be my thing, as an Interior Designer by trade it would make sense wouldn't it!
catch you later
hugs

Don't you just love a deadline!. I have spent all afternoon doing 2 layouts for 12x12 magazine with the free papers that come with the magazine. I cant upload the layouts until they have been published, but 1 layout is bonfire night (this is the piccie I have used), and the other is Lilly soaking wet at Alnwick Gardens. Actually they are both Lilly, and the layout I want to do tonight is Lilly :(, oops better get a LO of Miss Izzy done before she starts getting miffed!
Feeling dead gloomy and lonely. I know I have absolutely no reason too, I have a beautiful family, a lovely house in the country, and work I am loving, but still I wish I had my girlfriends near by.
Peter has taken the girls to Nans this afternoon because they were driving me insane, and now I wish I had company!
Yes I want my cake and eat it too. Well I have Kirsty coming down with Ellie next Saturday, and the crop on Sunday. Then I am off to Wigan as I am sponsoring Kirstys retreat. Then I do believe Karen may be down not long after. It will be good to see her again. I am miffed I am missing Gillians 40th as well. But I will make that up to her ;)
Its my aunt's birthday tomorrow, the woman who has everything , so I am afraid I will be sending flowers, as I cant for the life of me think what else to send her!
Until later,

Did start this yesterday, but never seemed to finish, so lets try again today
Yesterday was pretty pants, ended up rushing Lilly to the Docs with a stiff neck, cold symptoms and a high temperature. As you can imagine I was a tad stressed!! Anyways , thankfully the neck problem was a symptom of a virus she has so I felt a lot better. Came home and Lilly spent the morning crashed on the sofa, while I caught up on emails and such.
Received the papers from 12x12 magazine as well to do next months layouts with, deadline 26/10,!!! Liz what are you doing to me, and Kirsty!!!???
hopefully will get some scrapping for me done this weekend as well as a multitude of deadlines for 12x12. Also need to get cracking on my 1st editorial for craft essentials issue 7 as well.
Have decided to do Bonanza 2006 this year as well. We had so much fun, just need to decided what name we will be exhibiting under, Bumble Bee Crafts or Scrapping Angels? Also need to do some Jennie bribing. So hun if you are reading this, mwwahahahahahha, well we need a celebrity on our stand!!
I need to send some emails to the 12x12 DT this weekend, and sort out some stamp designs and give Rena a call to see if she can do some prototypes for me.
Oh and hoping to paint Lillys bedroom this weekend, if I havn't got enough on already.
And a BIG TOOT for Beth who has just jad a LO taken for Scrapbook Inspirations, daed proud of you babes :)

Today has not been overly thrilling, Izzy was at school, Lilly had playgroup and I have been busy packing orders, receiving deliveries and at last completed 3 cj entries, yep 3!!!! And a lo of Lilly on the beach to go with my "jump" layout. The lighting is really poor so will upload tomorrow. I have used BG Dawson, chatterbox, junkitz fabric, and Elsie Flannigan font (borders) from 2 peas.
I have my crop next week, lots of talented scrappers coming as well as the infamous Kirsty, my partner in crime and inspiration when I cant get inspired to scrap.
So we hope to show everyone what Scrapping Angels is all about as well. Also had my radio interviewed Tuesday, and hopefully that is going to be transmitted this week and next Saturday.
It is so late now, its gone 12.30, I am actually waiting for Kirsty to upload some new exciting designs for Scrapping Angels, so thought I would blog
Ok folks I am pooped
nighty night
hugs

I was too tired to blog last night, sorry guys!
Today has been different! The good thing is that Paul (Peters brother) fitted me a work bench in my office, pure white unadulterated scruumyness. I now have 2.4mt of scrapping space, how cool is that?!
This evening we went to parents evening, to hear such wonderful things about our Izzy, she truly is a gem and I am so proud baby of you. We went and had a look round the gallery and Izzy picture was a corker. The theme was "holidays" and Izzy drew a squirrel that she saw at Centre Parks last year when we holidayed with karen and Kevin. We bought 2 framed copies.
I must now rearrange my scrapping space and scrap, before Kirsty gets her whip out!!!
Now Kirsty has gone all Elsie Flannigan on me so what can I pull out the bag to impress her with, mmmm, time to think and maybes sleep on it . I do love this inky grungy look I did on this LO of Lilly so may think more on this.
hugs

Its official, the most wonderful and hardworking Paul Reeve has squeezed into his busy schedule to do this, so a BIG thank you, to you Paul and to Ali for working so hard and helping Kirsty and I out , you guys are the best.
The email has just come through while I was on msn messenger to Kirsty and together we visited our holding page, I tell you we are sooo made up, this is it Scrapping Angels has started.
So if you want to become an Angel, get yourself over to the site and send myself or Kirsty an email, and heaven will await you!
I have had such a hectic few days, I am so knackered. But life returns to some normality from tomorrow.
My Junkitz order arrived today so I will be packing kits tomorrow and my Central Park and Chloes Closet should arrive tomorrow so lots of scrummy papers to upload on the site.
I have confirmed the Scrapping Angels website details today so hopefully our holding page will be up soon
Tomorrow is my BBC Cambridge interview so I must prepare for that. Lilly is off to nana's so I don't have to clock watch
Need to send out confirmation emails to the new 12x12 DT, so must liase with Kirsty on that one, and then I must sort out my deadline timetable for the next 4 months!!
So its busy busy busy for me the next few days, nothing changes really does it.
Must ring Dad and Kirsty tomorrow, and I think Karens home so will give her bell. Gillian is off with Peter 1st thing tomorrow. She has been a star and all she has doen today is sort out my ironing, washing and prepare scrummy food for me, sure am gonna miss her! I feel dreadful as it seems we have spent so little time together. I even crashed on the sofa this afternoon while she cooked for the girls!!
She has showed me how much I love my healthy eating again and I would love to keep it up, so thanks Gillian for that. My bed is calling..........................
My I just thank you all for your lovely comments , emails and pms I have had with regard to Izzy and school, it really has meant a lot to me, and I am glad to say I spoke to her teacher which she was most grateful off, lets just hope it can be sorted and quickly...
It is only Saturday and since I last blogged, Kirsty and myself are now on board at 12x 12 magazine and are pulling a DT together and we are going to take the magazine to new heights. It is all very exciting as well as a tad scary, but I know we can do it. We have already approached designers and the response has been brilliant and our DT has now been formed!!! The team will be revealed in the next issue of 12 x 12 magazine.
We are also starting new features with Kirsty heading the Back to basics and Tool Reviews and I will start doing a regular feature about scrapping in the USA and my fav subject, sketches.
Scrapping Angels is going to be BIG, I just know it. We will be launching properly in January with a stunning kit, a great bunch of sponsors and in the meantime we shall start recruiting.
I am so exciting but my head is spinning...
Thanks to Kirsty I managed a LO last night. A grungy Blonde Moments number. I just love these papers, cant wait for Dyan to start distributing.
I have to clear my mind this weekend and then start full on next week.
The girls have had a wonderful few days with Kirsty, so thank you darling......
Today like all days I start with my cup of strong black coffee, and check emails and my calendar for what has to be done and planned for the day. But today I had to spare a thought for my beloved Izzy.
It seems that she is the victim of school bullying. I am devastated, she is only 5!!!!
Izzy has a few speech problems due to her hearing (she had grommets fitted last year) and 2 girls from another class have been teasing her with regard to her speech and calling her "Spanish". Yesterday they threw water at her in the toilets. Izzy has told her Dad these things and not me, as she knows how upset this will make me. I did ask her about this today , and bless her cotton socks, she told me that she was 5 and brave and not to worry> Now please forgive me, but my heart strings pulled to extremes, what an amazing little girl I have!>anyways we have parents evening next Wednesday and I can assure you this subject will be brought up, just so that it goes no further, or even begins to harm my baby's school day.
Has anyone else experienced this sort of behavior in such young children? Advice would be greatly received.
Browsing Friends Reunited, like you do, or not as in my case for years, I fell across this photo!! Yes that is me in the gorgeous stunning pink and black back wing jumper with long golden locks, lol, so whaddya think? Cool chick eh?
It really is going to be a fun filled, fun packed, friends reunited sorta weekend. I have the ever talented Kirsty Wiseman, my business partner in crime and scrapping guru coming over tonight until Saturday while we have meetings with magmaker and stuff to do for Scrapping Angels, and then Sunday I have Gillian visiting form Newcastle for a few days, cant wait will be great to see the skinny minny again ;)
Got loads to do today, more scrummy noodle boxes to pack for customers and a brain storm list for magmaker and Scrapping Angels to do as well as start planning the next 4 months editorials and projects I have to do. I am sooo disorganized , and I need to start being better prepared, so much happening ,my head is in a spin!!!
Anna needs whatever sense of humour works for her
Anna needs all the support she can get now
Anna needs some match practise
Anna needs to be excused from class today
Anna needs a fan club too!
oh how true this all is ........ thanks Cath this has made me giggle, go on give it a try
go to google and type in the search bar "(your name)needs" and see what you need today!

I got a call this morning from BBC Cambridge, I have an interview with them on Tuesday 18th at 2.10pm to be aired on the 19/10, to talk about scrapbooking and Scrapping Angels, how exciting is this!
And today Kirsty receievs a copy of the Bookezine that she designed some cards for, things are looking pretty good today! And the adorable Jennie (Findley) has also done some projects for the bookezine, I have to go and buy this, ask them to sign copies!!!! I am so proud of you girls, well bloomin done!!
Wow what a day I have had, highs and lows, jubilation and felling like poo the next minute, dead busy packing orders and playing with an idea I have had for a few months.
It was school photo day today and believe it or not we made it dressed and out of the house by 8.15 in the morning!! It has never been known!
I started writing my step by steps for 12 x 12 mag and will pop into St Ives office tomorrow and give them to Liz
My brain is in overdrive at the moment. I have had an idea for a while and after speaking it over with Kirsty she has made me realize I must go with it, so today Scrapping Angels was born!!
I am really going to make this one work, with Kirstys brilliant design skills and charisma and my waffle and love of all things creative we should make this work.
So I now have a pre recorded interview with BBC Radio Cambridge to look forward to, shitting a brick to be honest but this could be a stepping stone in the right direction
Will buy the domain name for this new venture and by the end of the month Scrapping Angels will be well and truly formed and be on everyone's lips, that's all I am saying ;) I can hardly write this blog I am so excited, nervous, scrambled and knackered from thinking , but I am going to run with this one, guess I had better copyright the name as well, dont even know where to start with that!
Well all this thinking and planning means I havnt scrapped or even started my challenge to myself to start stamping on my layouts, maybe tomorrow!!
Until then..................................
Yep its official I have lost my scrapping Mojo, I have scrapped this 1 layout all afternoon, and I am so not pleased with it. I also jammed the printer as well, so I think I need some time to reflect my scrapping style, if any, and get my fingers dirty again. I haven't scrapped in such a long time and it shows with this layout.
Its too sparse!! The photo isn't big enough!! I used DCWV card stock, the 1st time not using Bazzill!!!! And DCWV papers, American Craft ribbons which I am in love with. I bought all 8 packs of them for a brilliant price , that's 64 reels of ribbon for £25, OMG I hear you cry!!! I handcuttheh title "GIRL" but it doesn't stand out. I do hope Karen like its though. Ok enough of my moaning about how uncreative I have become.
I am going to prepare my layouts and step by steps for Liz at 12 x 12 tonight. These are layouts that I am pleased with and have already been done and accepted , so it wont be as hard to write my step by steps .
So it's back to the scrapping board for me and to yell at Peter to get the dinner on.
Well I have decided after browsing all night to get inky and start stamping a bit more.I have been looking at the Hero Arts scrap part of their site and the gallery is really inspirational.I have loads of stamps, and have already had a play in a mini book I did so I must play on a 12" x 12" now . Thats my decision this week to challenge myself to stamp on a layout.
Will post my layout to Karen tomorrow, I have placed some paper under the "G" so it stands out more now, feel a bit happier with it now.
Off to ogle at Kirstys work now ;)
I have decided to go for a slicker more artsy look for my blog, well I am supposed to be an artist!!!. So I have been messing and made myself a fancy banner and changed the colour as well.
I was over at Kirstys blog, who too has a fancy schmanchy new looking blog, and she has a great link for a brill font site, that girl sure loves her fonts!
Today we have been to the continental market in Huntingdon whilst Izzy had her 1st party to go too.
I have uploaded a new think pink card kit and am hoping to get scrapping tonight, and play with some distressing tools, mmmmm.
Funnily enough I have downloaded some new fonts as well, but cant remember for the life of me where I got them from, I think it was a link fromUKS.
So what shall I scrap tonight? I am in an arty farty mood as well so I want it to be very different to my usual stuff, need to hunt an apropiate piccy out I guess.
I have been listening closley to the lyrics of this song on my blog, it really does make you think,
we are all just Ordinary People.
Take some time to watch the whole video and listen to the lyrics
I really love this guys writing, recommend this album to you all
Dead chuffed today, I have just been commissioned to do 3 x 4 page projects for Craft Essentials and a Masterclass. So I will be a busy bee. Also uploaded the cutest lil box to my website for altering; the noodle box! I am so in love with these babies and they should be flying of the shelves. I am going to do kits as well.
Ordering all my scrummy Junkitz for the kits this month and for Kirsty's retreat in November,a s well as some new goodies that cant be resisted
.
Booked my first Scrapping Angels crop as well. So from now on the last Sunday of the month will be Scrapping Angels. I will be doing a class as well with techniques, take the shop mobile. Will be doing flyers and posters as well as contacting the local press.
At last up to date with packing orders, just waiting for the back orders to go out and deliveries to arrive.
Izzy has a birthday party to go too tomorrow and is very excited, and Peter has an old friend and her daughter coming on Sunday so a proper family weekend is in store.
Oh and check out the new music video I have added , this guy is tops , bought his CD today!
I have had a rotten day. My website died for about 5 hours, causing absolute mayhem this end, while I panicked, emailed, pm'd and cried, but it is back.
I have my first Scrapping Angels crop booked in Huntingdon for 30/10 and already a few have confirmed. I have sent out some press releases and am hoping to talk to local radio station to promote scrapbooking here as it seems there is absolutely nothing going on. I must start designing the class as well.
Lilly has been hard work, but that may have been my stress with all that has gone on today as well.
Spoke to Gillian tonight about her 40th, spoke to my dad as well. He's poorly so I must drive down to Brighton and see him. And Karen has been on the forum, shock, horror she is only gone and made posts galore, only kidding hun, great to see you there
Have just had a lovely evening watching Grounhog Day with Peter , loved it.
Infact so early I didn't have time to blog!
Had a very busy day yesterday packing orders, and sorting out editorials for the next few months. I am doing some work for issue 8,9 10 for craft essentials and now doing bits for 12 x 12 magazine, so I reckon I have burned out after the weekend and was in bed by 8pm! Feel a lot better for it so hopefully will plod on today with more packing, organising another Think Pink kit for card makers this time, and checking out forums.
I am gutted, I bought tickets to see STOMP on Saturday at Cambridge City Hall. A Follower since they started out as Pookiesnaknburger many years ago in the eighties, I was so excited about seeing this amazing dance and percussion group. But it was not to be as we sat in the car for 2 hours in a traffic jam in Cambridge city centre, only to arrive 30 minutes before the end! Mind you those 30 minutes were amazing and I recommend anyone to get a ticket and see them, an absolute must show to see, full of energy, comedy , dance and music, great for all the family, Lilly was dancing and clapping to her hearts content.
Today I have been really busy. I have done 3, yes 3 plastic bottle mailings, for the forum, 1 tag book for the forum and a cj entry for UKS, and I finished my editorial for Creative Scrapbooking and am well chuffed with it.
I now have some text to do for 12 x 12 magazine and to contact Michelle from Practicle Publishing to discuss some work tomorrow morning. It feels good to be writing again.
The online shop has been really busy this week as well, and I am going to be donating 10% of our PINK profits to Breast Cancer for all this month.
