Where in the world has the last week gone? The girls are back at school a week today, and there is still so much to squeeze in
banner class
Thursday - hair cuts and new shoes
Friday - Annie visiting, cinema with sue
Saturday - 50th party at our house to prepare for
Sunday - clean house!
Monday - school checklist
also need to squeeze in my Pencil Lines layout for sketch 100, can you believe it! and my Bad Girls kit has arrived and I am itching to get scrapping.
Pencil Lines 99
This weeks Pencil Lines, was sponsored by the gorgeous Jenni Bowlin. I love her vintage embellishments and papers, so it was an absolute dream to work with. I cut out the butterflies form the pattern paper and adhered with a thin strip of 3d foam, and bent their wings up.
So the last week I have been painting, cleaning and having a general sort out for the arrival of my dearest friend of 14 years , Karen and her hubby Kevin. The paint was dry just in time for their arrival Friday night. Rock Band and beers made an appearance, and a fab night was had by all.
Me and Karen
The Safari Park is a fab day out, so much to see and do, we have return passes to visit again, free, by the end of October. A definite for the half term with Nana I reckon.
Saturday night, Karen and I made sure all the kits were packed and everything was ready for Sunday s classes. Scrapping Angels Summer workshop went down really well with everyone. I love teaching and seeing everyones layouts and projects that they made during the day.
Sara and I
Sue and I
It was lovely to see new and old faces, and I have made a date to go to a crop, thats not mine in September!!! How exciting is that. I am off to Colemans on the 14th September, for a full day of cropping. I cannot not have done it without all the hard work Sue puts in the day and a huge thank you to Karen who was supposed to be doing classes but spent the day in the kitchen with Sue. More thanks go to Sara for her helping clearing up at the end of the day,and to all those who sponsored me for my MS Race, thanks ladies xxx
Monday was a lazy day, cooked breakfast to start the day off, then i started cooking a fancy beef casserole and another lemon cake for Karen and Kevin to take home, for some reason the left overs never made it back to the house from Sunday!!!!
Karen and Kevin left early evening, and i crashed in front of the TV to watch Mario propose to Lisa on BB!! What an end to a fantastic weekend!
I hope everyone had a lovely bank holiday, i am still recuperating from my week, LOL
Thanks for stopping by, I will get round to some blog surfing soon, honest!
By the way, if you live locally to me, East Anglia/ Cambridgeshire, go check this out!
Hugs
