Visiting the knitting department in our small department store in town, I fell in love with so many beautiful wools I decided to knit some scarfs and make matching felt brooches for the ladies in the family!
Here we are in knitting heaven. This scarf will have tassles added to the ends for a feminine touch. Love the colours; greens, grey, purple and blue, reminds me of a bag Karen bought me last year from Monsoon. Its only taken me a couple of evenings to knit a scarf, not long at all for me. My next project is to make some long fingerless gloves!

I actually knit all yeaar long. I belong to a few knitting groups online and locally where we meet at Coffee shops. I love giving handmade items as gifts, so this is oerfect for me, plus...it's relaxing and FUN!
Oh, the scarves look so beautiful and warm! It's very cold over on this side of the pond, so these would be well used. I tried to knit but my stitches were always too tight. I do some crocheting.
