Photo Paper Direct

blogged by me domestic goddess On 10/01/2009 06:09:00 PM
I was asked a while back to review some photo greeting card paper by Ran from Photo Paper Direct.
At last I managed to find the time to have a play! And impressed I have been. The card I was sent is a double sided gloss/matt greeting card.

This card is a lovely weight at 210gm and is scored down the middle , perfect for card makers. I decided to print some photos on mine to make greeting cards.
I opened up a tent card template in Microsoft publisher, and dropped my photo onto the the front page of my card. On the beach hut card I added a simple black border, and with the "apple" card I added some text.

Once you are happy with the design you simply print! Do check your printers specifications and always print at the highest quality or printer can for best results.
(I have an HP printer and used photo ink.)

I am really happy with the results and will be making thank you cards for Izzy's birthday.
Although I used Microsoft publisher, it would be just as easy to use a simple word document format, as the paper is A4 in size.
The cost is really reasonable as well. £8.99 for 20 A4 sheets! That works out at only £0.44 per card.
Do pop over to their site as they sell lots of different papers for t shirt transfers, bags, greeting cards and lots more.

Thanks for stopping by. Tomorrow I will be cooking in the kitchen!
Hugs
Anna xx
