About Me

Married to my soulmate with 2 beautiful girls, and our English Springer Spaniel, Suki. Living a country life in Cambridgeshire, whilst baking, gardening, and photographing our daily lifes, where they find a place on my scrapbook pages.

My little place on the web

This blog is just that, my little place on the web.You will find my daily (or not so daily, hehe)life, my love for my new vegetable garden, baking, photography and my scrapbooking!

My Scrapbooking

Scrapbooking is a way of life for me now.It has been for over 4 years. I love journaling, taking photos of my family and love colour and texture, these are all part of my everyday life and scrapbooking.

So this is it!

My first time blogging!

Not sure how this will go, whether I have the commitment to do this thing, but my dearest friend and scrapping sole mate, kirsty, said "darling, you sooo must get one" , ok well if you know Kirsty you will know exactly what she said to me, mwaaahahahah.
I thought this was a good time to start, as us Bowkis's have just moved from Newcastle to Cambridgeshire where our abode now is a house in the country, next to fields , awoken by the sounds of birds singing.
Now this I am told will allow my creative juices to flow easily and writing will be a breeze as will my scrapping! We shall see. Well I have managed 4 layouts since we moved, which is amazing, now to crack on with the CJ's!
Izzy started school on wednesday, lots of photo's taken for that 1st day at school layout!
Busy weekend ahead of me as I have a deadline to meet for Creative Scrapbooking and a layout to do for a competition I have entered. Why I enter comps I will never know. I say this will stretch my creativness and challenge me, as well as make me think out of my comfort zone. Instead I stress, leave to the last minute and just make the deadline!
The girls are staying over at nana's saturday night so freedom! Now is this freedom a good thing or a bad thing. Probaly spend the night talking about the girls, how much I miss them, and so on!
Oh well we shall see.
