And its still raining.......so the BBQ was a bit wet and soggy, but highly entertaining. Once the thunder and high winds started we did decide to adjourn indoors and watch the cheese platter get sodden and the salad start swimming!!! But we did save the wine and strawberries. Whilst all this excitement was happening three mums and three babies were sound asleep inside.Due to the poor weather and no tripod, i was only able to get a few decent, in focus shots!! I am sure another opportunity will arise for me though. The girls had great fun playing with Bronwyn who is 3 and looking at the babies who aged from 1 week old, 18 days and 3 months old, awwwww. So weird seeing our friends who i have know for 12 years, are now married with new families of their own, so touching and moving.
Peter and I have been together for 12 years, married for 8 years and have never had a holiday abroad. After making a phone call to Auntie Linda we went to the travel agents today and have booked 3 nights and 4 days in Barcelona for our wedding anniversary in August. I am so giddy with excitement. It was a toss up between Amsterdam and Barcelona, (thanks Jo-Anne for the contacts I am sure they will still get used!!!) and Barcelona won, due to the good deal we got on the Hotel.
So if anyone has been and knows of some great restaurants and sight seeing spots please let me know.
Tomorrow is Fathers Day, and Peter already has his present in the form of a Xbox 360 driving wheel and pedals!!! Boys will be boys wont they!!! I guess breakfast in bed will be on the cards for him tomorrow morning, along with a day of racing...... I am preparing a roast dinner and apple crumble for lunch, yummmmmmy.
Please do not forget you still have until tomorrow night to send Pencil Lines DT entries into us. I am so excited about this. The response has been overwhelming and will prove to be a very tough choice for me.

You lucky thing having a holiday abroad, me and DH haven't ever been abroad either and we've been married 11 years and together 15 years now, we didn't even get a honeymoon. Hope you have a fab time (not that I'm jealous at all rofl)
