OOO i do so love a wedding, I am always sitting in the pews with a tissue at my eyes mopping up tears!!!

I so enjoyed being the "unofficial" photographer for the day, and actually ended up with 2 bookings from my efforts!!! Both are family and will be great practise for me. I realise i absolutley adore taking photos of children the most.
I am about to purchase my first lens for my Nikon, and cannot wait to play with it. Have decided to go for a 50mm fixed lens for portrait photography.
I love the old film look of this photo, i cranked up the ISO to get the "grainy" look to this photo. Isnt she just adorable?Back to today. Izzy was supposed to be on a school trip. I packed her off with appropriate clothing for pond dipping, packed lunch and waterproofs, to get a phone call from peter telling em i had got the wrong day!! oops. Now I know i am slightly scatty when it comes to my organisation skills, but to be fair the letter was dated the 5/06 and apparently another letter was sent when Izzy was off sick with a new date for next week.
Tomorrow its Lilly's first school trip and we are both off to a farm for the day with pack lunch and waterproofs! and of course my camera.

Now why didn't they do wedding photos like this when I got married?! You know I am so tempted to do it all again just to have pics like these!

Those photos are so gorgeous!!! I'm like you - I cry the whole time at a wedding- LOL. Last time was the worst- my BIL's wedding- same minister as at ours and same family of course- LOL.
