My Nikon 50mm lens arrived this morning!!!!!!I was so excited that I put my lens on incorrectly and then wondered why it didn't work, oops. But she is on now and working a treat, shame i had no models to play with, instead me, the grass and the foxgloves became my models for the day!!!
When it came to bedtime the girls decided to let me play with 
my new lens. Straight out of the bath and this is what i am greeted with!!! Not quite the sweet photo i was planning on. Had a play with some common shots, the "feet" shot just to test my DOF, and I love it!!!

Just a sneak peek here until Mel and Jill publish it.
I think I am in love with black and white at the moment as well. love the vintagy and timeless feel to my photos when I convert to black and white.
This weekend promises to be a weekend of creativity, or so I hope. lots of projects i want to get my teeth into
as well as DT magazine work. Izzy is away tomorrow to Ripton Abbey with her Rainbow group and Lilly and I will wave her off and head to the supermarket and let peter sleep in. He has been working day and night shifts all week, bless him, and is utterly exhausted. Expect him back at around 6am this morning, hence why Lilly and i will stay away from the house for as long as possible.

Loving the photographs - I wish I could take photos that nice. You always choose the best angles to take them from. I suppose it helps that you have two fantastic daughters who love posing hehe.

Looks like we all have DT stuff on the plate. I gotta do a lot too- for the German Magazine, Scrapmuse and some other things. It is kind of hard if the weather is sooooo gorgeous and the sun screams- come out little fellow! LOL Have a great weekend and lot's of MOJO!
